Connected indicates your Internet connection is working properly.

Connection problem icon

Not connected indicates there is a problem. Continue and test the connection.

Check when the connection was tested

In the Network Status box, Network Magic indicates the last time the Internet connection was tested, either by Network Magic itself or by someone in your home network (for example, Internet connection checked: 11:30 AM). 

Test the connection

  1. In the Network Status box, click Check Now.

    Wait briefly while Network Magic analyzes your connection.
 
  1. Review the test results:

    If the connection is working properly, Network Magic updates the Network Status box to show the time of the test.

    If there is a problem with the connection, Network Magic displays a Repair button in the Network Status box. For information about repairing connections, see Repair connections.
